This year, Japanese Summer Camp will be held on May 17th, 24th, and 31st.

Lecture of May 17th:  “ABOUT JAPAN”– the lecturer Mrs. Haruka will speak about contemporary Japan, its culture, people, education, sports, way of living, and brief history.  Mrs Haruka was born in Japan but lived in United States for several years in her youth, so she has different perspective of Japan.  What is so attractive of Japan and Japanese culture…, she will introduce you from different aspect.

Workshop: SHOGI-JAPANESE CHESS—Mr Tsutsui, a young businessman in Dubai, will put his effort to introduce Shogi during his busy working days.  The most different rule of Shogi from Western chess is that you can obtain opponent piece as yours, when you dominate the area.  Then you can use them as your piece to win.  More than 6 million people play Shogi in Japan, as there are so many Shogi schools for children and adults in everywhere.

Workshop : TEA CEREMONY—Mrs Suzuki will introduce you Japanese ancient culture which has more than 1200 years of history. She will teach you how to enjoy Tea Ceremony with rules and regulation. Tea Ceremony is widely practiced by Japanese young generation, as it also gives etiquette and manners.
