Japan Center’s annual event “New Year Party” 2016 was held on January 23rd at Maraya Art Center, Sharjah.
Family and friends of our students, people from local community as well as Japanese residents, came to join the event.
Participants enjoyed the traditional games and cuisine of Japanese New Year.
Calligraphy and Tea Ceremony were very popular among activities, which many people lined up for the participation.
Kendo, one of Japanese Martial art was performed by Kendo Club of Japanese Association. Their powerful performance impressed many audience.
8 teams competed in the Quiz show, and Ms Sasaki’s team won the grand prize.
Ms Amani was awarded the best calligraphy by 11 years old Calligraphy master, Karen.
