Annual Event “Japanese New Year Day 2020” is coming on Saturday, January 18th.
There will be a great Show and Games this year.
UAE-Japan Cultural Center holds annual “Japanese New Year Event”. It is to celebrate New Year with local community. Anybody of any nationality & age are welcome!

Ninin-baori Show —Traditional Ninin-Baori is that a front-person will be blindly dress-upped, make-upped, and fed some foods by a behind-person under thick jacket. It is a Japanese traditional fun game.
Kakizome –Japanese Calligraphy for New Year. You can write your dream of 2020.
Furoshiki Challenge – Let’s try Japanese gift wrapping with a piece of cloth.
Origami Challenge – Japanese paper craft. There are 2 levels: Easy / Complicated level challenges.
Sashiko Experience – Experience Japanese traditional Stitching.
Traditional Games —Kendama / Othelo / Dice / Fukuwarai / Karuta etc.
Japanese Drum — Challenge Japanese-style music and rhythm by Japanese drums.
Quiz Show – Multi-national Teams will compete the knowledge about Japan. This year, each team must practice some games to obtain the points. A lot of give-away gifts.
Attention!! Come by 10am on time. All games 10:00~11:30. Show starts at 11:30. Bring your family and friends to the event. It is only once a year!
