Japan Center will start “Elementary 1-A2 Course” from April 3rd. It is online course to avoid COVID 19 risk for teachers and students.
It seems difficult for you to know the equivalent level of your Japanese skill.
Japan Center has these following levels.
-Starter A1 (Lesson 1 to 18)
-Elementary 1 -A2 (Lesson 1 to 18)
-Elementary 2 -A2 (Lesson 1 to 18)
Each level is divided into two courses (Lesson 1 to 9) and (Lesson 10 to 18). Once we start the course, each level needs almost 20 weeks to complete. So it means we offer the course of each level once or maximum twice a year. Do not miss the chance to join from the beginning.
“Starter A1” Course is for new students for Japanese language. It will start from September 2021. (However, in case you already know Hiragana, Katakana & basic Grammar, you can join “Special Starter 1” at the end of May 2021. This course is prepared for those who graduated Beginner Course of Japan Center. It will omit first three lessons of Hiragana & Katakana, then proceed quickly than normal “Starter 1” Course.)
“Elementary 1-A2” Course is for the applicants who self-studied Japanese for several months, or who used to live in Japan for a while without proper language course, or who completed “Intermediate Course” in Japan Center. If you don’t know your level, it is good to start with this course. Because this course will be a good practice of speaking and listening Japanese with a little knowledge of grammar. The upper level is more difficult and faster for new starter. This course will start on April 3rd, 2020.
“Elementary 2-A2” is upper Intermediate level. It will start from September 2021. This course is for the applicant who studied Japanese language for several years. In case you completed Japan Center’s “Upper” Course, or you have completed ‘Genki” 1st book, you can join this course.
As we continue one course for 9 + 9 weeks, it will take for a long time to resume a same course. So do not miss the chance to join.
During Ramadan, the teacher will discuss with students how and what time majority of students want to continue.
We can change class-timing to afternoon or night. We can make holidays last two weeks + Eid then continue.
We try to be flexible now, as COVID-19 is effecting everybody’s life.
