Japan Center will start new Japanese Language Courses from September for academic year 2021-22.
It is online course, using Microsoft Teams, to avoid the risk of spreading Covid-19.
It does not change much from face-to-face class, as teachers ask you to answer the questions, to repeat after her, and send your homework by emails.
Also you can join from anywhere in UAE, not wasting your time to get ready & drive to the venue.
The details of each course are as follows:
Starter A1
Period : October 2 to November 27 (9 weeks)
Timing : 10am to 12:30pm (total 22.5hours) on every Saturday Mornings
Teacher : Shoko Sensei
Method : Japan Foundation based CFER / Starter A1
Eligible Applicant : New learners (max. 12 students)
Fee : AED 1345 (Fee AED 1125 + 2 Texts AED 190 +M-post AED 30)
Modified Starter A1
Period : September 18 to October 23 (6 weeks)
Timing : 10:00am to 12:30pm (total 15 hours)on every Saturday Mornings
Teacher : Yasuko Sensei
Method : Japan Foundation based CFER / Starter A1
Eligible Applicant : Learners who finished first half of Starter 1 Course, or Experienced Learner of Beginner level approx. 50-100 hours of study. (He/She must know Hiragana/Katakana and basic Grammar. However, Kanji knowledge us not must.)
Fee : AED 780 (Fee AED 750 + M-post AED 30)
Elementary1 A2
Period : November 6 to January 15, 2022 (9 weeks)
Timing : 10am to 12:30pm (total 22.5hours)on every Saturday Mornings
Teacher : Kaoru B. Sensei (new Teacher)
Method : Japan Foundation based CFER / Elementary 1-A2 (First Half)
Eligible Applicant : Learners who completed Marugoto Starter A1 Course or Experience Learner of approx. 200 hours of Study (He/She must know Hiragana/Katakana and basic Grammar. However, Kanji knowledge us not must.)
Fee : AED 1370 (Fee AED 1125 + 2 Texts AED 215 + M-post AED 30)
Elementary2 A2
Period : September 25 to November 20 (9 weeks)
Timing : 10:30am to 13:00pm (total 22.5hours) on every Saturday Mornings
Teacher : Kaoru M. Sensei
Method : Japan Foundation based CFER / Elementary 2-A2
Eligible Student : Learners who studied Japanese to the Beginning of Intermediate level in any textbooks (approx. 300 hours). Those who understand basic conversation of daily life. No Kanji Knowledge can be accepted.
Fee : AED 1485 (Fee AED 1240 + 2 Texts AED 215 + M-post AED 30)

Then we will inform you how to transfer the fee to our bank account.
After receiving the transfer, we send you the confirming email, and send textbooks to your address by currier.
One week before the course starts, we register your name & address in appropriate class of Microsoft Teams, then guide you what to prepare.
Attention:
Each class is limited to max 12 students, so more teaching effort will be shared on each student.
We will offer “Starter A1” at least twice a year, but upper courses could be once a year.
So, do not miss this chance. Join the language course during Pandemic Era.
Then you will be ready to travel with your language skill after opening the boarders!
