The last day of Summer Camp 2014 finished with a lot of fun.
There was a lecture “Student Life in Japan” by Mr. Alharith who graduated from Tokyo Electric University in last March. He talked about his experience, fun and difficult parts of his student’s life in Japan. Many questions were asked by audience.
Two workshops “Flower Arrangement” and “Sushi Cooking” were held. In Flower Arrangement, Teacher shows how to choose flowers, how to place it with good balance in space. Participants used only 3 flowers, and to their surprise, it was enough to decorate the room!
In Sushi Cooking, you learn how make shiny, tasty sushi rice at first. Then you use your sense and taste to make your own sushi. Keep the colorful ingredients inside and roll it as square, triangle or round as you like!
On behalf of our staff, we appreciate your participation and interest in Japanese Culture. See you again at the camp next year.
