The Center is dedicated to bridging the cultural divide between local and Japanese communities. Through language and cultural courses, national celebrations, and engaging activities, the Center fosters a deep connection between the to nations. Our mission is to promote mutual respect, learning, and camaraderie between the two communities.
Our Journey Since 2008-Present
Naoko Kishida Founder and Director
Kishida-Sensei has moved to UAE 30 years ago. She has been a pillar in social engagement and cultural exchange between her native land, Japan and her residing home. She established UAE-Japan Cultural Center in 2008 without support from sponsors and committed herself to the interest of her small community from both nationalities. Her passion toward Arabic and Islamic culture was evident in her continuous endeavor to introduce the culture, teach the language and engage the people of Japan and UAE to connect with each other. Over the years, she has been guiding students toward their future to realize their dreams and achieve their objectives. Her achievement in the center has inspired multiple centers around the region. She is an author for fives books published in Japan, for which she received a book award.
