Japan Center will hold “Japanese New Year Event 2024” on January 13th, Saturday.

Your family and friends are all welcome to join.

Entry : AED 50/person (above 10 years old)-cash only

Content: Introducing traditional Japanese New Year.

Japanese Traditional Dance-Nichibu (Nippon Buyou) will be performed by the professional lady.

Furoshiki wrapping Workshop / Kendama Workshop / Calligraphy Workshop / Origami Workshop

(including Fukuwarai / Wanage / Hagoita / Koma-mawashi / Daruma-otoshi / othelo games)

We will make a report of our Japan Study Tour.

Japan Center will start new language course for Beginners from January.

The details are as below:

Period: Jan 20^th to Mar 16^th for 9 weeks

Timing : 9:30am to 12:30pm every Saturday Mornings (3 hours)

Teacher: Japanese native speaker (experienced and certified teacher)

Venue : Classroom of Art For All Center, in Sharjah Art District

Fee : AED 2000 (Registration AED 100 + Course Fee AED 1620 + 3 texts AED 250 + M-Post AED30). The same text will be used in next course, too. 

Registration : Fill the Registration Form  and send it to jpncenterapplication@gmail.com

Attention :

1) The completion certificate be given at the end of full course.

2) The course is for above 15 years old. It is not made for small children under 15 years old.

Once your registration is accepted, the transfer the fee should be made to secure the seat.

As soon as we receive the fee, we will arrange the delivery of the textbooks to your physical place.

One week before the course starts, the detail will be announced to the students.

Japan Center made 1st Alumni Assembly in Tokyo on Dec 3rd.

37 participants from all over Japan, have gathered for the first time for this occasion.

All of them stayed in UAE in the past and have attended the activities of UAE-Japan Cultural Center.

There were fun quiz and games about UAE, challenged their memories of UAE.

However, so many changes happened in last 15 years in UAE and made them confuse about their memories.

The director made a speech about a new project to establish “Islamic Science Museum in Tokyo”.

They had great fun and got a nice gift from UAE.

Japan Center starts Second Term of Language Course.

One course start from Dec 9th, The other course starts from January 13th.

Course: Starter A1 (Second Half, Lesson 10 to 18)

Date :  Dec 9^th to Fe 10^th, 2024

Timing : 9:30am to 12:30pm

Venue: Art For All Center

Teacher : Japanese native, qualified and experienced speaker

Fee : AED 1750 (Fee AED 1620+ Certificate AED 100 + M-post AED 30)

 

Course : Starter A1 (1st half) for Beginners

Period: Jan 13^th to Mar 9^th for 9 weeks

Timing : 9:30am to 12:30pm every Saturday Mornings (3 hours)

Teacher: Japanese native, qualified and experienced speaker

Venue : Classroom of Art For All Center, in Sharjah Art District

Fee : AED 1900 (Fee AED 1620 + 3 texts AED 250 + M-Post AED30). The same text will be used in next course, too.

The participants of Japan Study Tour 2023 visited Metro cities of Tokyo.

They enjoyed Glass Blowing Workshop, Tea Ceremony Workshops, and explored the shopping districts of Tokyo.

The participants happily went back to UAE on Nov 26th

On 4th day of the tour, the participants of Japan Study Tour 2023 have enjoyed strolling Kurashiki Historical Area.

Kurashiki is a very beautiful and quiet city, full of artisan and tradition.

After Kurashiki, they walked through Okutsu Mountain looking at Autumn leaves.

Finally the bus reached Matsue City in the evening.

Some participants stayed Onsen Ryokan for the first time to experience the hot springs.

On the 5th day, the participants visited Adachi Museum, which is famous for its beautiful garden.

They paid tribute to Izumo Shrine, the highest ranked temple of all over Japan.

Coincidentally, that was a starting day of one-week-long discussion of 8 million spiritual gods of Japan.

So the shrine was full of worshippers.

In the evening, they reached Tokyo to enjoy 3 days of modern Japan.

 

2nd day of the tour, we went to the Hiei Mountain of Kyoto.

Enryaku-ji is one of the highest grades of all temples in Japan.

It stands on very steep and thick mountain, which the monks have to go through the hard training for many years.

3rd day of the tour, we visited Himeji-jo.

The participants also enjoyed the pottery workshop in Okayama.

Okayama Kourakuen has a great light show with Autumn leaves.

Okayama-heritage is our destination tomorrow.

Japan Center kicked off the “Japan Study Tour 2023” on November 18th.

24 participants including two Japanese teachers enjoyed the sightseeing of Kyoto City as 1st day.

Kyoto is full of red autumn leaves and foliage.

The participants also enjoyed the workshop of binding Japanese washi-book and painting on its cover by ancient way.

 

1st Term of Japanese Language Course completed on Saturday, November 4th.

The course was held as face-to-face style after 4 years.

The students benefitted so much from our course.

The 2nd half (Lesson 10 to 18th) of Starter A1 will start from December 9th.

Whoever interested in joining not very beginning course, but a little higher level, you can try to read, write, understand grammar below.

If you feel good, you can join the next level from Dec 9th.

Second level of Starter A1 will be as follows:
